Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Quiet Chemistry ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, registering as a member, or using our matchmaking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
Our Services
Quiet Chemistry provides personalised matchmaking and introduction services for individuals seeking meaningful long-term relationships. Our role is to facilitate thoughtful introductions based on compatibility, shared values, and relationship goals. We do not guarantee introductions, relationships, marriage outcomes, or specific matching timelines.
Eligibility
To participate in our services, you must:
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be legally single and free to enter into a relationship.
Provide accurate and truthful information.
Use our services respectfully and lawfully.
We reserve the right to verify information where appropriate.
Registration & Your Profile
A one-time registration fee applies for profile onboarding, verification, compatibility assessment, and participation in our matchmaking process, unless otherwise stated as part of a promotional offer.
Once your profile has been approved, it will remain active in our matchmaking network for twelve (12) months from the date of approval.
During the active profile period, Quiet Chemistry will make reasonable efforts to facilitate suitable introductions, taking into account compatibility, shared values, member preferences, profile availability, mutual interest, and the member's continued cooperation with the matchmaking process.
While we are committed to making thoughtful introductions, we do not guarantee that a suitable introduction or successful relationship can be achieved within the active profile period. The availability and timing of introductions will depend on the suitability of compatible members within our matchmaking network and the mutual willingness of both parties to proceed.
Upon expiry of the active profile period, your profile will become inactive unless renewed in accordance with our prevailing terms and conditions. Profile renewal may be offered at our discretion.
Successful Introduction
A successful introduction occurs when:
a suitable introduction has been identified; and
both parties mutually agree to be introduced.
Once both parties have accepted the introduction, any applicable successful introduction fee becomes payable.
Member Responsibilities
Members agree to:
provide truthful information;
keep profile information updated;
communicate respectfully;
respect the privacy of other members;
not misuse information obtained through introductions.
Members must not:
share another member's profile or photographs;
take screenshots of confidential profile information;
impersonate another individual;
harass, threaten or abuse another member.
Profile Verification
To maintain a respectful and trustworthy matchmaking environment, we may conduct profile reviews and verification procedures. Verification may include identity checks, profile validation, recent photographs, interviews, or consultation sessions. Submission of information does not guarantee acceptance.
Profile Review & Acceptance
All applications are assessed individually. Quiet Chemistry reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend or remove any profile where we reasonably believe participation may affect:
member safety;
trust;
the integrity of the service;
the overall matchmaking experience.
We are not obliged to provide reasons for every decision.
Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect the privacy of all members. Selected profile information may be shared only with potential compatible matches for the purpose of facilitating introductions. No softcopies, hardcopies, screenshots, downloads or reproductions of member profiles may be retained or distributed without written consent.
Fees & Payment
Registration fees, if applicable, cover profile onboarding, verification and participation in the matchmaking process. Successful introduction fees are payable only upon successful introduction as defined in these Terms. All fees are stated in Singapore Dollars unless otherwise specified.
Refund Policy
Registration fees are generally non-refundable once profile onboarding, consultation or verification has commenced. Refund requests will be considered in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable Singapore laws.
No Guarantees
While we endeavour to facilitate meaningful introductions, we cannot guarantee:
compatibility;
mutual attraction;
successful relationships;
marriage;
frequency of introductions;
specific timelines.
Relationship outcomes ultimately depend on the individuals involved.
Limitation of Liability
Quiet Chemistry shall not be liable for:
decisions made by members;
personal disputes;
emotional distress;
financial losses;
conduct occurring after introductions;
indirect or consequential losses,
except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Service Availability & Discontinuation
We may modify, suspend, restructure, or discontinue any part or all of its matchmaking services where reasonably necessary for operational, business, personal, legal, regulatory, technical, or other legitimate reasons.
If Quiet Chemistry permanently ceases providing its matchmaking services, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected members as soon as reasonably practicable.
Quiet Chemistry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising solely from the discontinuation of the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Force Majeure
We shall not be responsible for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, cyber incidents, telecommunications failures or other unforeseen events.
Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, branding, text and materials remain the property of Quiet Chemistry unless otherwise stated.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
